Tréguer & Tréguer has created a top-quality rosé wine at the southeastern tip of Sardinia, in the Castiadas area, called SO CHIC ! Cool, Rosé ®. A 100% Cannonau di Capo Ferrato DOC, vinified as a rosé, it has already received important awards and recognitions, such as at Vinitaly 2023 with the Anfora d'Oro (97.2 points out of 100) or "Best Rosé Wine 2025" and "Best Label 2025" at Wine On Tour Sardegna 2025, after a vote of 800 consumers.
It's no surprise to see rosé consumption booming in Sardinia for us, Isabelle and Jean-Paul Tréguer. We're a French couple who decided six years ago to settle permanently in Sardinia after a long career as entrepreneurs in advertising and marketing in Paris. We fell in love with the island and the Sardinians! Being natives of France, the world's leading producer of rosé wines, we've always lived in a market where this type of wine is extremely important.
When we arrived on the island, we discovered an exceptional native grape variety, the famous Cannonau, the oldest vine in the Mediterranean (3,200 years old), which is known as the ancestor of Grenache, the famous grape that is the basis of the greatest Rosé de Provence wines. So, with the help of the highly respected winemakers of the Castiadas-Costa Rei-Villasimius area and a great Sardinian winemaker, we created our own excellent rosé wine, So Chic ! Cool, Rosé ®, with a clear ambition: to create a great Sardinian rosé wine "Made in Paradiso di Sardegna", capable of serving as an alternative to the very famous rosé de Provence wines that dominate the world market.
We've always said: "Sardinia has everything it takes to become 'The Provence of Italy'. It's the perfect place to grow great rosé wines: 300 days of sunshine, an ancestral winemaking culture, highly talented winemakers, a Cannonau grape that withstands warming better than many others, the sea that brings flavor, and millions of rosé-loving tourists who come every year for vacation and to discover the wonders of Sardinian food and wine."
Sales of SO CHIC ! are growing rapidly. Our still rosé wine is sold from north to south, from east to west of Sardinia in 5-star resorts and hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants and gourmet restaurants, beach clubs, and wine bars, as well as in mainland Italy and, for the past three years, also exported (to the USA, Switzerland, etc.).
